RMHC VIC & TAS
Supporting seriously ill children and their families through COVID-19
RMHC VIC & TAS history
Welcome to Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania.
We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing vital programs for families with seriously ill children.
About Our Chapter
Since we opened our very first Ronald McDonald House in Victoria in 1986, our Chapter has expanded to provide essential services in Melbourne, regional Victoria and Hobart. We have supported sick children and their families for over 30 years. Through our accommodation and support services, we strive to keep families together when life gets turned upside down due to a child’s illness. Our Ronald McDonald Houses and Programs are run by a tirelessly hard working team of staff and volunteers, aided by the generous support of our donors, sponsors and corporate partners.
RMHC VIC & TAS is a charity registered with the ACNC and a company limited by guarantee.

How you can help
Other ways to help
Fundraise for RMHC VIC & TAS
When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can have a devastating impact on families. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there is the added stress for families who don't live close to the medical care their child needs.
Without your support, we would be unable to keep our doors open to families in, 365 days a year. Thanks, to the public, we have been able to continually expand our operations to help more families.
See how you can get involved today!
Become a corporate partner

Times are tough for everyone at the moment but for sick children and their families the new uncertainty we all face is nothing new. Let's show sick children and their families that we are here for them by making small regular donations.

Adopt a Pantry
Each family staying at a Ronald McDonald House is assigned their own pantry in one of our nine kitchens across our four Houses.
We are offering the exclusive opportunity to Adopt a Pantry to help us support families who need to stay at Ronald McDonald House to be close to their child in hospital.
We will create a personalised plaque with your name or logo to be displayed on your adopted pantry in one of bustling kitchens at the House of your choice. For more information on this exclusive offer, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Group Volunteering experience is a unique opportunity for the wider community to give practical and monetary support that directly makes a difference to the lives of families with a seriously ill or injured child.
Bring your team to one of the Houses to cook for our families or participate in a working bee. Experience first-hand the positive impact that volunteering at Ronald McDonald House has on both your team and the families staying at the houses.
