Keeping our families safe - an update on COVID-19

Keeping our families safe - an update on COVID-19

Continuing to provide a safe and supportive environment for families of seriously ill children, our volunteers, and our staff is our absolute priority.

We have a range of safety measures in place for our Programs, which are in-line with the relevant Government and Health recommendations to minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19, and includes:

  • Social distancing requirements
  • Wellness and temperature checking
  • Increased cleaning, hygiene and sanitisation practices
  • Reducing access and occupancy where required
  • Vaccination requirements for anyone over 16 years of age and are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination

We are working diligently to fulfill our mission and meet the unique needs of each family under challenging circumstances. We will continue to work closely with our Hospital Partners and Hospital Social Workers to ensure all families are supported.

If you have any questions, or to find out about the specific COVID-safe precautions within local Programs, please contact the relevant Program directly.
