RONALD McDONALD FAMILY RETREAT

Ronald McDonald Family Retreats are available at no charge to families caring for a child diagnosed with or recovering from a serious illness. Please be aware that travel costs are the families own expense. Please see Reception for more information.

RONALD McDONALD LEARNING PROGRAM®

Tailored tuition for children who have missed school through illness. A major concern when a child suffers a serious illness is they miss lengthy periods of schooling and can fall behind their peers.

The Ronald McDonald Learning Program provides seriously ill children with a chance to help them catch up with their missed education and reach their true potential.

The Ronald McDonald Learning Program provides comprehensive assessment to determine each child’s learning strengths and needs. From these results an individual education plan is developed which includes tuition and speech or occupational therapy if required.

Results have been outstanding with parents and teachers reporting on improved academic performance, self esteem and confidence in the children returning back to school.

For more information please call the Ronald McDonald Learning Program State Manager, during business hours Monday – Friday.
