Our Facilities

We have 24 comfortable bedrooms including 4 self-contained units. There are three guest laundries and two fully equipped communal kitchens which include fridge and pantry spaces. We have dining areas, multiple lounge rooms, indoor and outdoor play areas, a games room and a BBQ area. Free car parking is also available.

Our games room is a great place for children to play together. We have computer consoles, table football for the older children and an area for younger children with lots of toys, a TV, DVD’s and a Wendy house.  And for the parents there are comfy sofas to relax on whilst your children are enjoying themselves.

We offer two fully equipped communal kitchens with over 10 cookers, individual fridge space and pantries for each guest. The kitchens are stainless steel, which enables us to keep it really clean for all our families.

We have three communal coin-operated laundries that our families are able to use. Our front desk can provide washing powder if required.

What better way to unwind or relax than with a good book? We have an extensive selection of books (generously donated by the North Queensland community) and comfortable leather lounges thanks to our National sponsor La-z-boy. There are also computers with internet access in case you need to catch up with family and friends back home.

We have two large lounge areas within the house which are perfect chill out zones for families. Children can relax and meet other families, watch a movie or catch up on Foxtel.  Both areas are in close proximity to the kitchens for when you get hungry.

We love the fact the we have a 5 hole putt-putt course and so do the families. It gives everyone the feeling of having a bit of a day out, but still being close to the hospital. The front desk provides the clubs, balls and even a score card.

Need some quiet time, or a private space to express milk or breastfeed? Our parent room provides a comfortable, private space as well as fridge and freezer use exclusively used for the storage of breast milk.

Living in North Queensland is all about spending time outdoors so it makes sense that we have a large outdoor area. We have outdoor toys and a climbing frame and it’s all situated right next door to our outdoor BBQ area where we have seating and two BBQ burners.

We have free parking. The car park at the house is big enough to cater for 32 vehicles.
