The house that love built.
Ronald McDonald House North Queensland has provided accommodation for over 2000 families of seriously ill children since 2004, who come from country areas of North and North West Queensland.
We are the fourth largest house in Australia and proudly represent a growing population in the North. We support a number of different families from all backgrounds from the Outback to the Cape and some overseas families.
The House is situated on the Townsville Hospital Campus within close walking distance to the Pediatric Ward and Neonatal Intensive Care Ward.
We take pride in our House being a Happy House. All guests, staff and volunteers embrace the special gifts and experience of each other and we are all focussed on enabling our children to live healthier happier lives.

WHAT'S ON AT RMH NORTH QUEENSLAND
Join us this McHappy Day with your friends and family at your local Macca's to pledge your support! A portion of the proceeds from every Big Mac sold at every McDonalds Restaurant in Townsville will go directly to the Ronald McDonald House North Queensland. So visit one of the 11 Macca's in Townsville and #GetYourBigMacOn ! Big Macs aren't your thing? You can still donate by visiting a restaurant and dropping off your spare coins in our coin buckets or buy a pair of Ronald's awesome stripy socks that we will have for sale. You can also donate through our website. What is McHappy Day, you say? McHappy Day is a fundraiser to support Australian families with seriously ill children. The donations received help Ronald McDonald House Charities provide a place for these children and their families to recover, relax, and play right next door to the hospital. Last year, together we raised $3.6m to help seriously ill children and their families - a target we aim to beat in 2016! Find out more at rmhc.org.au/mchappyday
