Volunteering Opportunities 2010
The volunteers at the House assist the staff and families in many different ways. With their assistance, the House is truly a home away from home for the families living here.
CURRENT VOLUNTEERING POSITIONS AVAILABLE
We are looking for enthusiastic, kind people to help around the House on weekdays/weekends and evenings in various capacities.
These include:
1. Daytime Volunteers - morning or afternoon shifts on a fortnightly basis or one full day per month.
2. Reception Volunteers - morning or afternoon shifts available on weekdays.
3. Money box Volunteers - to assist us in promoting the House by distributing money boxes and collecting them when they are full.
4. Overnight Volunteers - these volunteers are required to sleep at the House, welcoming any late arriving families or helping with any functions on of an evening.
Other Volunteers needed -
1. Pampering - Massage, Reflexology, Hairdressing: Qualified people who are interested in using their skills to pamper the families living at the House
NEXT ORIENTATION: Date to be advised on completion of the application form.
If you aren't available for these positions, we recommend anyone interested in volunteering, source opportunities through Volunteering NSW who have an extensive network of organisations who are always requiring volunteers.
