How You
Can Help

Here are some great ideas of how you can help

Here are some great ideas of how you can help. Did you know to keep our doors open to the 670 families that stay with us each year, we need to raise just under $2,500 each and every day? That’s why we are always looking for new people to help us along the way, we really do appreciate every penny raised.

If you want to help or need some inspiration and ideas contact Milly, the House Fundraiser 02 9382 4278 or Email milly.bond@rmhrandwick.org.au

1. Rise to the Challenge

If you want to take on a challenge this year why not do it for a great cause. Be it a swim, cycle, run, climb, record cake bake or dry July, you can fundraise for the house and set up your own personalised page online in minutes. Simply click here.

Alternatively you can simply donate here be it a regular or one off gift

2. Adopt a Room

The Adopt a Room Program provides organizations with an opportunity to sponsor one of the 28 rooms in the House, to assist us in maintaining and improving on the level of comfort that we are able to provide to the families. An Adopt a Room sponsorship consists of:$5,000 (inc.GST) per annum to sponsor an individual room in the House for a minimum of 2 years.

3. Working wonders

Another way you can help is at work with colleagues and friends. We are constantly amazed and delighted at the ideas employees come up with the raise money for the house. Be it Trivia nights, fancy dress, payroll giving, staff BBQ’s, golf days, fashion shows or team building events – whatever the theme the stories and photos show they all have a great time when employees get together to raise money.

4. Make a meal

Volunteering is an integral part of Australian life. Volunteering can play a vital role in impacting staff morale, motivation and organizational pride. Ronald McDonald House, Randwick has a fantastic ‘Make a Meal’ program, where your staff can come to the house, have a tour to get an understanding of the house and how it works. Then plan, prepare, serve and enjoy the meal with the families staying in the house that night. It’s a great way for them to feel truly involved and very hands on.

5. Our wish list

We always have a wish list for the house, from washing up liquid to new equipment or even a new room build, so if you think you can help us out please contact Milly and she can send you the current wish list.

Our heartfelt thanks
