Families of children being treated at Monash Children’s can stay for as long as they need to. Although priority is given to families from rural areas, metropolitan families are welcome to stay if room is available. Families of children with cancer, cystic fibrosis, kidney disease, heart conditions and those who have had premature babies are typical of our residents.
How do you book?
Bookings can be made by referrals from your doctor, hospital or clinic. It is possible to ring the House directly on (03) 9562 6223. Families who live over 100 kms away from their child’s treating hospital are eligible for Human Services financial support. All families are charged a maximum fee of $50 per week.
