Bridal Expo Raffle Winner
On the weekend of 15 August, the Australian Bridal Service presented the Bridal Spring Exhibition at the Royal Hall of Industries in Sydney's Moore Park precinct.
Since 2007 Ronald McDonald House Randwick has been the guest of the Australian Bridal Service and Honeymoon Planners, who have been sponsoring our attendance at every Bridal Exhibition and who have been donating an exclusive and extremely generous raffle prize respectively.
With the help of some of our loyal volunteers we were able to speak to countless interested visitors about the work that we do, and we sold raffle tickets for the highly sought after prize: an Exclusive Honeymoon Giveaway to the magnificent Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast, kindly donated by Honeymoon Planners.
The raffle was drawn by the five-year-old Tyler Gray-Thompson on Tuesday, 18 August 2009 at Ronald McDonald House Randwick. Tyler has been coming to Sydney Children's Hospital for cancer treatment since September 2006 when he first arrived here, a week before his second birthday. Under the watchful eyes of his mother, Melissa, and three Ronald McDonald House Randwick employees, Tyler tossed hundreds of raffle tickets before drawing the winning ticket number 000256 of Mr T Moore from the Central Coast.
We congratulate the winner and his fiancee and trust that they will enjoy their stay in superb Renaissance splendour at one of Australia's premier luxury hotels.
