CHARITY BALLS

Every year, the RMHC Mercedes Benz Ball Committee and the Kalgoorlie Goldfields Children Charity Ball Committee each organize a gala charity ball to benefit Ronald McDonald House Perth.  Every 4th year the Brittany Fairy Ball Committee organise a special party that is a must attend night for the country town of Harvey.  Proceeds of this event are donated to RMH to fund special projects.

On 20 March 2010, the Kalgoorle Goldfields Children Charity Ball Committee, held a 'Swinging 60's' ball. Guests were transported back in time to when disco ruled and hot pants, platform shoes and go go dancers were all the rage. Tickets sold out fast to this goovy evening and all in attendance are eagerly looking forward to next year's event.

The RMHC Mercedes Benz Ball is the number one event of Perth's social calendar and last year's ball held on 7 November 2009 raised and incredible $700,000.00 on the night.  Themed 'Silk Road - A Night Under the Eastern Moon' patrons were taken on a magical journey of sights, sounds, taste and aromas of this ancient trade route that linked traders and travellers from Asia to the Mediterranean. 

The eagerly awaited launch of the upcoming 2010 RMHC Mercedes Benz Ball, when the closely guarded theme of this year's grand ball will finally be revealed,  will be held on Tuesday 18 May at the Burswood Entertainment Complex.
